No Sugar Press aims to bring together everyone a story — and a book — needs to come alive:
editors, designers, writers, bookbinders, social media people, PRs — and beyond that, directors, producers, cartoonists, animators. Anyone necessary for a story to leave the mind, eventually the page and enter the world.
The Council of Cunts BookClub
The Council of Cunts is a monthly book club for readers who are done being polite about literature. Here, admiration is earned, not performed. We read widely, argue fiercely, and speak without filters — about structure, language, politics, craft, failure, brilliance. No sugarcoating. No performative praise.
This is a space where disagreement is not a threat but a method. Where taste is examined, not protected. Where we ask not only did you like it? but did it deserve to exist?
The Cunts of the Round Table Writers Room
The Cunts of the Round Table is a genre-fluid writers’ room built on collective craft rather than authority. There is no single master voice. No presiding genius. No hierarchy of taste.
Here, we sharpen each other. Across genres, styles, and obsessions, we workshop structure, tension, voice, pacing — not to imitate one another, but to strengthen what is singular in each of us.
It is a space for disciplined experimentation. For rigorous feedback. For collaborative growth. A round table where every seat carries both responsibility and influence — and where the story always matters more than the ego.
Submissions
What criteria are used to publish submitted books?
Thankfully, not every book gets published here.
Curation is handled by the founder, the cuntess. The standards are determined purely by her taste, instincts, and mood.
No Sugar Press is not restricted to a specific genre. But literary merit is non-negotiable.
E-book or Hardcopy?
All submissions to No Sugar Press are evaluated for digital publication.
Printed editions are not standard releases.
Hardcopy books are produced only as limited-edition, specially designed collector’s items, in small quantities, and exclusively when a dedicated readership demonstrates clear demand for a physical edition.
What are the submission requirements?
There are basically no formal submission requirements. If you intend to earn income, you must be legally of age of course. All we ask for is bulletproof confidence and a brave heart.
By submitting your work to No Sugar Press, you explicitly agree that your submission may be publicly reviewed, whether it is accepted or rejected This includes, but is not limited to: written critiques, excerpts from the submission, editorial commentary and evaluations shared on the No Sugar Press website and social media channels. Submission equals consent. If harsh criticism will crush you, don’t press that button.
If you submit one of those so-called “smut” books (not entirely sure what the term even stands for), built around ridiculous sexual fantasies — say, a bored housewife being railed by a dishwasher or something equally inspired, prepare yourself to be publicly shamed. This platform is not interested in lazy fetish writing disguised as literature. We read for craft. Not for coping mechanisms. At least not that kind.
What about money?
No Sugar is a business with a transparent policy. Not charging authors to publish digitally (if — and only if — the cuntess likes the work and wants to publish it). Instead, No Sugar Press takes a percentage from sales and holds an interest in adaptation rights.
If you need services upfront — editing, translation, proofreading, design, PR — those are paid separately. All of these services can be sourced through the hub aka The Cuntortium, and budgets are determined on a project-by-project basis. No Sugar Press believes in circulation, not hierarchy .Skills move. Roles shift. Credits are shared. Sometimes payment is money. Sometimes it’s a favor returned at the right moment. Collaborations within The Cuntortium are based on trust, reciprocity, and shared belief in the work. Who helps whom — and how — is decided between collaborators, not dictated by No Sugar. The hub exists to make these encounters possible. What you build from them is up to you.
